The Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Turkey Mohammed Tureik held talks today, Wednesday, with the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Noah Yilmaz over bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 55,297, with 128,426 injured, the Ministry of Health in afflicted Palestinian enclave said. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Attorney General: Judiciary independence is cornerstone of justice

Yemen's Attorney General Dr. Ali Ahmad Al-Awash has stressed that the judiciary's independence in any country is a real guarantee for the wellbeing of any state and represents the cornerstone of justice.
He made the remarks to Saba in Marrakech in Morocco, where he had just finished participating an international conference, on “Independence of judiciary power, between guaranteeing the rights of respondents and observing the rules of the functioning of justice" on 2-4 April.
He said that any violation of judicial institutions and judicial independence is the real cause of state and society collapses.
