[04/04/2018 04:12]

ADEN-SABA
Minister of Local Administration—Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee—Abdulraqeeb Fatah has strongly decried rebel militia's continuous threatening to International marine navigation in the Red Sea.

In statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Fatah said:" Targeting a Saudi ship off coast seaport by Houthi putschist militia was considered to be a terrorist action, serious violation of the international and humanitarian laws".

The Minister stated that the Militia's continuation control over the seaport poses threat to 30% of International trade that runs through international territorial waters.

He said:" Houth militia's presence in the Hodeida seaport makes the harbor a military facility and not a relief one… the harbor is being used by the militia as a military position to threaten the international trade, regional and international security".

The Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee called on the International community to deal decisively with the Houthi militia's threats. " International community should act firmly toward these violations and hold the rebellious militia accountable for threatening regional and international security", said Fatah
