Minister of Electricity and Energy Engineer Abdullah Al-Aqwa'a met Thursday with the Indian ambassador to our country.
Aspects of cooperation in the area of electricity between our country and Republic of India was a key focus of Al-Akwa'a's talks with the Indian diplomat.
Eng. Al-Akwa'a underscored the need to get Marib-Gas 2 Power Plant finished as soon as possible. The Plant is set to provide the national electricity network with 450 MGW. The implementing contractor of the project is Indian company.
The Indian ambassador promised to do his best to contribute toward getting the project accomplished.
