President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadihas made a follow up call with the national footballers poised today to take on Nepal in the last match of the qualifiers to the AFC Asian Cup that will take place in the UAE.
Hadi told the players any win they make will bring a sense of relief to their insurgency-afflicted nation. He praised the team's past performance in previous showdowns saying Yemen takes pride in them.
Meanwhile the Sports Ministry honored three judo players for their wins in the Arab Clubs for Judo Championship held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, last week. Senior sports officials honored Ali Khasrooof, Ahmed Araziee and BaseemAtayar who won a gold medal and two silver medals respectively.
