Police Supreme Council launches its meetings in Aden

The Supreme Council for Police has commenced its meeting in Aden under the presidency of Deputy Minister of Interior General Naser Lakhsha' after a halt lasted for years since Houthi Coup against the government in 2014.
The council discussed a number of topics including an action plan for 2018 and its constitutional tasks, as well as issues related to security affiliates.
The meeting comes in the framework of activating the ministry of interior and shouldering its responsibilities in accordance with constitution and law and decisions of the ministry's leadership, said Lakhsha'.
He confirmed keenness of the ministry's responsibility in cooperation with the Arab Coalition for deep rooting security and police and protecting public stability across liberated provinces.
He stressed on work commitment by the council's members on working in accordance with the drawn plan for overcoming past faults and realizing the institutional work.
