Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Ibtihaj Al-Kamal discussed with the Palestinian Minister of Women's Affairs Haifa Al-Aga ways of coordination and cooperation between Yemen and Palestine on women's issues.
The two officials met on the sidelines of the 62nd Session of the UN Women's Affairs Committee in New York.
Al-Kamal confirmed Yemen's support for the Palestinian cause.
She stressed the importance of coordinating Arab attitudes in international forums and within the framework of the United Nations to advance the role of Arab women in economic, social and political decision-making.
