KUALA LUMPUR-SABA
Yemen's Ambassador to Malaysia AdelBahomeid praised the brotherly positions of the Kingdom of Malaysia towards Yemen in its current circumstances caused by the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels.
During his meeting with Dewan Rakyat Speaker Pandikar AminMulia in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, Bahomeid gave an account on the latest developments in Yemen and the government's pursuit of political settlement to end the Houthiinsurgency.
They discussed the horizons of further developing the brotherly historical relations between Yemen and Malaysia.
Pandikar Aminstressed Malaysia's continued support to all the UN efforts to bring peace to Yemen.
