Yemen's ambassador to Jakarta Dr Abdulghani Ashamiri met Thursday here in Jakarta with the Director of Middle East Department in the Indonesian Foreign Ministry Sonarko.
Yemeni-Indonesian bilateral ties and cooperation was key focus of Ashamiri's talks with the Indonesian officials.
Ashamiri voiced Yemeni government's appreciation for the supportive stances of the Indonesian government toward the Yemeni legitimate leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
The ambassador explained the humanitarian situations in Yemen, underling the need for benefiting from Indonesian experience in health sector and field-makeshift clinics.
The Indonesian official has reiterated his nation's support for Yemen's unity, security and stability. He also showed sympathy with the Yemeni people, promising active contribution to the relief, humanitarian and reconstruction efforts in Yemen.
