Minister of Interior Ahmed al-Maysari discussed with the governor of Taiz Ameen Mahmoud the situations of Taiz especially the suffering of part of the city's population under the Houthis' control.

In a meeting held in Aden on Wednesday, al-Maysari affirmed the government's commitment to support the local authority in Taiz and to afford all that is required to maintain peace and security in government-held provinces.
