Yemen's ambassador to Djibouti Abdullah Assoqatri met Wednesday with the representative of the UN High Commissionaire for Refugees Affairs (UNHCR) in the Republic of Djibouti Abdullahi Bari.
The meeting devoted to discuss assistance provided by the UNHCR for the Yemeni refugees in the Central Camp in Obekh province in the area of education, health, water and sheltering.
The meeting also touched upon coordination with the Djiboutian official authorities about integrating Yemeni refugees in the Djiboutian educational system and health care insurance under the agreements the UNHCR entered into with Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health in the Republic of Djibouti in the onset of this year.
Separately, ambassador Assoqatri met with the Prime Minister of Republic of Djibouti, leader of Union Bloc for residential majority, Abdulqader Kamil Mohammed.
During the meeting, Assoqatri handed over Mohammed a letter of congratulation from Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher on the successful parliamentarian elections to be held for the seventh times in the Republic of Djibouti. The elections conducted on Friday February 23,2018, resulted in the victory of the Union Bloc.
