Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. PM meets with the charge d' affairs of the US embassy in Yemen

Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher met Tuesday with the charge d' affairs of the US embassy to our country Karen Sassari

Topics of common interests between our country and the USA were discussed during the meeting. Re-establishing security, stability and reconstruction in the government-held regions were also touched upon.

The Prime Minister said:" The three main references of peace was the best and appropriate solution in Yemen.. The war waged by Houthi militia against the state has caused chaos and disrupted nation-building that Yemenis have agreed on in the National Dialogue Conference, which came up with an inclusive outcomes can help building Yemen on the basis of fairness and justice maintains everybody's right and interests".

Bin-Dagher added:" The danger of the conflict in Yemen lies in Iran's interference through its incendiary rhetoric, planning and equipping the Houthi militia with weapons and military experts, ballistic missiles to threaten the region".

The Prime Minister has made clear that maintaining Yemen as a united single state isn't merely a Yemeni national interest, but also it is regional and international one" .

The American diplomat has affirmed that her country is very keen to support Yemen's unity and stability in conformity with the outcomes of the National Dialogue.

Sassari also stated that the US will continue to support the Yemeni government and people including logistic and technical support and training for Yemeni cadres in finance and other areas.
