Minister of Local Administration and the Head of the Supreme Relief Committee AbdulraqeebFath has condemned Hothi militia's creation of custom outlets in the capital Sana'a and provinces of Baidha'a, Amran and Dhamar and a number their held-areas.
He confirmed that all these acts contradict international laws and legislations and widen the gap of poverty and need of aid.
"Subjecting thousands of trucks and all transport vehicles and trade and relief trucks on custom measures again by rebel militia …. and forcing them on paying new fees of 100 percent contribute in doubling burdens on traders and locals in those provinces," Fath stated to Saba, demanding imminent stop of these measures.
He added that such illegal outlets and checkpoints worsen humanitarian situation in those provinces in the time the whole humanitarian situation across the country does not endure more aggressive violations.
Warning of creating more outlets, Minister Fath called upon the UN Office of Coordinating Humanitarian Affairs and other international related organizations to denounce these acts.
