Local sources told Saba that the two women when they were walking together landmine in a main road in Mallah area in al-Jawf and one of them stepped up on a landmine.

The incident comes a week after a number of women and children were killed by a landmine planted by the militia in the same area.

The Houthi rebel militia had planted hundreds of landmines and improvised explosive devices in al-Ghail and Al-Musloub areas before they were captured by the army. Dozens of civilians, including women and children, have been killed and wounded so far by those landmines.

The local population appeal to the local and international human rights organizations to rescue them from those mines by helping in their removal.
