The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Cabinet meets over Aden riot acts

The Cabinet held an exceptional skeletal meeting in the temporary capital on Sunday to address the developments of the riot and vandalism acts which separatists from the "Transitional Council" mounted in the city earlier in the day.

The meeting, headed by Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr affirmed that the vandalism acts and calls for toppling President Abd-Rabbu M. Hadiby the Council's outlawed militants only aim to disintegrate the country.

The Cabinet emphasized the need to complete implementing the rest of the GCC Agreement, its timetabled mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue and the UN resolution no. 2216.

It said the Iranian-backed militia of Houthisis the one to benefit from any unrest and destabilization of law and order.

It hailed the brave stance of the presidential protection force in holding fast to their sites despite the attacks of the Transitional Council's militants and responsiveness to the call for ceasefire.

The Cabinet called on all national stakeholders and political groups and tribal leaders to stand together to the side of the government and defuse the tensions.
