Interior Minister inspects migration, passport project in Aden

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ahmad al-Maisari inspected on Monday the ongoing work in Migration, Passport and Nationality Project and construction accomplishment in the new building at KhourMaksar District here.

Maisari reconfirmed that 2018 will be a year for accomplishment and improvement in interior ministry and all its bodies.

During the meeting, Maisary was briefed from Director of Planning in the ministry Jamal Fadhl and Project Director Ahmad Mohsen on the ongoing constructional work in the project.

He urged on importance of the migration and passport authority in solving problems of the citizens who lost their personal document over Houthi war.

"Regaining the authority after the war is praise-worthy for receiving procedures of the citizens from across the republic provinces after foreign ministry issued circulations to all brotherly countries not to approve passports issued from rebels-held areas," said Interior Minister al-Maisari.

He stressed on accomplishing the project on time and in accordance with agreed upon specifications and conditions.
