Third phase of Kuwaiti medical aid to Taiz launched

The Deputy Governor of Taiz Dr. Abdul-Qawi Al-Makhlafi and the President of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Oun, inaugurated the third phase of Kuwaiti medical aid, being implemented by Response Network for Humanitarian and Relief Actions.
A number of medical camps will offer services and treatments to the beneficiaries. The first camp aims to conduct 100 orthopedic surgery operations and 65 neurosurgery operations. The second camp aims to target 1500 patients with treatment and medical examinations in five districts, and to distribute 30 wheelchairs for war-maimed persons and some medical supplies and furniture for nine hospitals.
