The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Kuwait Red Crescent launches third relief campaigns in Abyan

Kuwait Red Crescent Society launched on Monday in the city of Zunjobar, in Abyan province, the third medical and relief campaign.
The Secretary General of local council in Abyan Muhdi Al-Hamid deeply appreciated significant support and relief aids offered by brethren in the State of Kuwait during the war has been waged by Houthi-militias. "Kuwaiti support long has been commenced including establishing Arrazi Public Hospital in Ja'ar as early as mid 1980s" said Al-Hamid.
For his part, Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Society Abdulrahman Al-Aon stated that this campaign comes within Kuwaiti assistance for Yemenis who have been going through war conditions and ordeal caused by Houthi war. "This relief campaign includes medical aids, surgeries, mobile chairs and artificial parts of body for war wounded people, food aids and medical camps", said Al-Aon.
