President al-Alimi: Dealing with Houthis as Authority of Fait Accompli Means Legitimizing Divine Right, Racism, Weapons Outside State
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) stated that any approach to put an end of the war in Yemen will never be successful, unless it deals with the Houthi militias as part of an Iranian cross-border scheme, and not as a local political party, warning that reducing any crisis of this kind to truces and arrangements for a ceasefire will lead to temporary risk management rather than building sustainable peace.

Govt. seeks to work out economic recovery programs, says Al-Maitami
[13/12/2017 02:12]

BUENOS AIRES-SABA

Minister of Industry and Trade Dr Mohammed Al-Maitami said the government worked on drawing economic recovery and reconstruction programs in order to cope with the hardships and ensure reestablishing security and stability.

Addressing the 11th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) held in the Argentina capital Buenos Aires, Dr Al-Maitami highlighted the claustrophobic impacts of the coup carried out by the Imamate-Houthi militia against the constitutional authority and Yemeni people.

"The coup d'état has obstructed the legal government's plans aimed to address several developmental issues and prevented Yemen from participating as new member of the WTO", said Al-Maitami.

The minister of Industry and Trade called on the WTO member state governments to support the legal government's efforts aiming to retake the state's institutions and re-build what the coup has devastated.
