The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi told the French ambassador to Yemen that Yemen is going through a delicate and sensitive stage that requires an international condemnation of the Houthi theologian milita that plunged the country in three years of devastating conflict.

In a meeting with Christiaan Testo in Riyadh on Thursday, al-Mekhlafi called all the Yemeni parties to respond to President Abd-Rabbu M. Hadi's call for alignment in countering the Iran-aligned militia and their destabilizing activities.

The French diplomat voiced his government's concern about the developments asserting the unity of the international stance toward Yemen and calling for a political solution.
