FM lauds IOM for increasing Yemen activity budget to $100 mln

Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi has lauded the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for increasing the budget of its activity in Yemen to $100 million in 2017.
In a meeting with the IOM's chief of mission for Yemen Laurent De Boeck, al-Mekhlafi appreciated the IOM's support in the water sector and in the combating of cholera in Yemen.
Boeck unveiled that his organization has more aid programs in store, for which the organization is trying to find an international donor to finance them. The organization hopes that will be in 2018 and their implementation will be a joint venture with the Yemeni government.
