President al-Alim Calls for Wide-Ranging National Alignment to Restore State Institutions, Eliminate Coup

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged all Yemeni people to align themselves behind the State Proposal, support the Armed Forces in the security services in the ongoing battle to restore the State institutions and eliminate the coup. Yemen has condemned the two suicide car-bombings that rocked the Somali capital Mogadishu on Saturday and incurred scores of casualties.

In a statement of which Saba obtained a copy, the Foreign Ministry said "while strongly condemning this cowardly criminal attack, the Government affirms its full solidarity with the government and brotherly people of Somalia against these terror acts."

"These criminal acts which target the civilians and public places show the gravity of the danger of terrorism and constitute a big threat that requires a serious international stance to fight it and put an end to it," read the statement.

The Foreign Ministry expressed its hearties condolences to the brotherly leadership, government and people of Somalia and to the families of the victims. It expressed wishes of speedy recovery to the wounded.
