Yemen has confirmed participation in Expo 2020 in Dubai by signing an agreement on the sideline of the annual International Participants Meeting.

The Yemeni consular in Dubai Mohammed Quteish signed the agreement on Yemen's behaf and the Najib al-Ali the executive of the committee organizing the event signed on Dubai's behalf.

The Expo 2020 runs for six months from October 20, 2020, under the theme, “Connecting Mind, Creating the Future,” and will provide a platform to encourage creativity, innovation, and collaboration
