The deputy speaker of the parliament, Mohammed Ali Ashdadi, commend the state of Kuwait support to Yemen in different times particularly during the critical stage the country has been experiencing because of the war triggered by Houthi and Saleh militias.
Al-Shadadi deeply appreciated efforts have been made by the Kuwaiti leadership, government and people to an end to the war in Yemen and reestablish peace.
He voiced his thanks to Kuwait in his meeting with the speaker of the Kuwaiti General Assembly, Marzoq Al-Ghanim on Wednesday in Saint Petersburg on the sidelines of the meetings of the 137th rounds of the general assembly of International Parliamentarian Union.
Al-Shadadi noted the humanitarian assistance and aid provided by the Kuwaiti Red Crescent to relieve the ordeal Yemeni people has been struggling with due to the coup.
For his part, Al-Marzoq emphasized the need for reestablishing in peace Yemen based on the UN resolution, GCC-brokered deal and the outcomes of the national dialogue conference.
