The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

UAE Red Crescent distributes 3000 food baskets in Shabwa

The UAE Red Crescent distributed on Friday 3 thousand food baskets on poor families in Arma District here.
"Distribution of food baskets comes within a series of humanitarian aid campaign of the Red Crescent in Shabwa to alleviate
suffering of needy people," said the Head of the Red Crescent Mohammad al-Muhairi.
He added that the Red Crescent authority will continue distribution of aid in other districts on deserved people to reduce their suffering and for securing the simplest food security to Shabwa people.
Locals expressed thanks and appreciations to leaders and people of the UAE for their humanitarian aid.
