Government pardons relief trucks of custom fees
[04/10/2017 07:17]

ADEN-SABA
Minister of Local Administration and the Head of the Supreme Relief Committee AbdulraqeebFath has said the government directed concerned Yemeni bodies in all ports and ground outlets to pardon relief trucks from custom fees.

He made it clear to Saba that these measures will help alleviating burdens on people's living conditions and encourage relief organizations to provide more support to Yemen, confirming that the supreme committee is coordinating with all donors to provide relief aid to all Yemeni people.

While he thanked Gulf countries for their great relief support, he denounced sustained practices of Houthi militias of looting aid and fuel for their war effort and trading with them at black market.

He confirmed that keeping the country's ports under the militias poses a dangerous threat to the international navigation, calling international organizations and the international community to put pressure on the rebel militias to hand over all ports and airports to the internationally recognized government.
