The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Deputy FM raises Yemen issues with Kazakhstani official

Yemen's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Mansour Bajjash, who is on a visit to Kazakhstan has raised the Yemeni political and humanitarian issues with the country's Vice Foreign Minister AkylbekKamaldinov.
Bajjash informed Aqlof the Yemeni government's pursuance of peace brokering bids by the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Ismail OuldCheikh Ahmed and by the sponsor countries of Yemen's political process which the Saleh-Houthi coup militias have been avoiding.
The Kazakhstani official affirmed his country's support to the Yemeni government in countering the coup and restoring the state institutions.
He affirmed his country's readiness to offer humanitarian aid to Yemen as per the priorities set by the Yemeni government.
