FM and Egyptian Higher Education Minister discuss cooperation

Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi has discussed with the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education Khaled Abdulghaffar the aspects of cooperation especially the field of education.
The meeting addressed the issues of Yemeni students in Egyptian universities, mainly the overdue payments for Yemeni government-funded scholarships.
Al-Mekhlafi made clear that the default in payments emanates from Yemen's exceptional circumstances caused by the conflict between the government and the Saleh-Houthi militias.
The Egyptian minister expressed his ministry's readiness to offer facilitations to Yemeni students especially the high scorer students considering Yemen's exceptional circumstance.
Al-Mekhlafi thanked the Egyptian minister for his government's support to Yemen in different political and economic fields.
