Yemen, Japan discuss activating youth programs

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Saleh al-Faqih discussed on Thursday with Japanese Cultural Attaché activating youth and sport activities financed by Japan in Yemen.

The Ministry of Sport and Youth is planning to implement a number of projects in fields of sport and youth, said al-Faqih, noting to difficulties facing implementation of the projects due to huge destruction over Houthi-Saleh's war on a number of provinces.

For his part Japanese diplomat said that his country has provided Yemeni with USD 62 million as humanitarian support and that Japan intends to support youth and sport programs.

He confirmed that he will communicate with his country's concerned bodies for reactivating youth programs.
