The Emirati Red Crescent has distributed food aid to many cancer and kidney failure patients in Mukalla, the provincial capital of Hadhramout, today.
The deputy head of the ERC Ahmed al-Niadi affirmed the importance of alleviating the suffering of the destitute, especially the ill destitute. This aid is part of the series of ERC's relief and humanitarian aid campaigns to Yemeni people, al-Niadi said.
"Health aid to citizens and health centers is a priority for the ERC, for it is a humanitarian and moral obligation, and embodies the spirit of fraternity between the Yemeni and the UAE people."
