Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhybeh has called for establishing a hospital in Yemen that offers traditional Chinese medicine services alongside modern medical services.

The Ministry of Public Health and Population's Office here organized Thursday a training course to mosque preachers to include issues of social awareness on cholera epidemic.
Up to 150 Preachers, included in the course, will educate people and worshipers during Friday sermons and and lectures to societies on protection against cholera, combating it and dealing with suspected cases.
The course was financed by the UNICEF.
On the other hand, the office concluded two training courses for 40 midwives from different districts on social care of mother and child.
Lasted for 12 days, the two courses aimed at improving skills of midwives on reproductive health and reduction of mortality of mothers and children from 50-40 percent.
