Yemeni people befell by real humanitarian disaster: SCR chairman

The Yemeni people have been befallen by a real humanitarian disaster as a result of the Saleh-Houthi coup militias' war, the chairman of the Supreme Committee for Relief SCR said Sunday.

The SCR and minister of local administrationAbdurraqeeb Fatah was delivering a speech in the inauguration of a workshop on" relief work re-activating" in Aden.

"Everybody bears humanitarian responsibility to save lives of civilians in the different provinces," he said.

He said that his committee SCR "is working to deliver relief aid to the Yemeni people to alleviate the hardships they are living."

He called on the international organizations in Yemen to move their main premises to Aden saying the SCR administration affords a mantle of authority for all international organizations in the Republic of Yemen.

He accused the rebel militias of intercepting the relief convoys to rob them and sell them in the black market.

Fatah said said the government is working to supply relief aid to all Yemenis from all parts and corners of the country.

Representatives of UN organizations, Yemeni CSOs and King Salman Relief Center delivered speeches in the workshop.
