Socotra Airport receives two fire trucks from the UAE

Governor of Socotra Archipelago Ahmad al-Socotri launched Saturday handing over two fire trucks from the United Arab Emirates to Socotra Airport.
Deputy Director of Socotra Airport Juma'n Khamis received the trucks.
Governor al-Socotri valued support of the UAE for developing different vital service sectors in the governorate as such support opens development projects.
He highlighted the support for improving equipment in Socotra International Airport as the sole entrance to the governorate after blocking marine ways for seasonal reasons.
The local authority values this support and the humanitarian and brotherly stances of the UAE for alleviating suffering of brothers in Yemen, said the governor.
The support comes under coordination of the political leadership and the states of the Arab Coalition, including the UAE, in supporting the legitimacy and boosting development in the liberated governorates.
