Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Chinese assistances granted to Yemen

Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Tian Qi has said that China contributes in alleviating the Yemeni people's suffering, pointing out that urgent humanitarian assistances of CN¥150 million were provided to Yemen.

The ambassador indicated that China further handed over $5 million to the World Food Program and $2million to the World Health Organization.

He explained that China is ready to communicate and coordinate with Yemen and the United Nations to distribute the assistance in a way that may ease Yemen's humanitarian crisis and the outbreak of cholera.

He also said that China will continue support Yemen's unity, sovereignty and independence, as well as reaching a reconciliation, emphasizing that China plays a positive role in providing advices and encouraging different parties to sit around the negotiation table.

He cited that China is ready to cooperate with Yemen in the Belt and Road initiative, affirming that it Yemen and China will benefit of it.
