The Taiz Security Committee discussed in a meeting on Monday the latest developments in the battle zones and the state of peace and order in the city.
The meeting of security and military leaders chaired by commander Khaled Fadhel discussed the minutes of the previous meeting including the rehabilitation of the Central Security Jail and the leaders' responsibilities in securing the city blocks under their respective areas of authority.
General Fadhel stressed the importance of maintaining the state of peace and order inside the city.
The city of Taiz has been lying under Saleh-Houthi militias' siege for nearly two year. The rebel militias' shell city's the neighborhoods continuously incurring civilian casualties.
