ADEN-SABA
Yemen's Prime Minister told high schoolers sitting for year-end exams in Aden on Sunday that "with education we uproot ignorance and plant knowledge, peace all over Yemen."
The premier Ahmed Obeid bin-Daghr was inspecting exams in al-Beihani school in Aden as an inauguration of the high school exams in 12 Yemeni provinces.
Bin-Daghr imparted words of salutation to Abu Bakr Soleiman a student taking the exam despite his injuries sustained during his participation in the defense of Aden against the invading Saleh-Houthi coup militias.
"Like this are the Yemeni students, they accept the challenge in the most delicate moments."
"As we are inaugurating the exams in 12 provinces today, we hope that we will inaugurate the exams in all Yemeni provinces.
But our country still lives difficult circumstances as a result of the barbaric war launched by the Houthi militias against the state."
The premier said the militias' targeting of schools and changed they effected into school textbooks indicates that they are pursuing an agenda of ignorance, carnage and destruction.
