IOM holds course on health awareness in Aden

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) on Wednesday launched here a three-day course on health awareness and education for peer educators and host community.

This course comes in the framework of IOM's regional programme to enhance health and welfare amid immigrants.

The course funded by the Finnish government targets community leaders, representatives of local civil society organizations and Ethiopian immigrants living in Aden and Lahj.

The course focused on topics concerning health of immigrants, human trafficking and its sorts, physical and mental risks for trafficking victims, mechanisms of human rights, and rights and duties of immigrants.
