The Government of Yemen has announced that it supports the command of the Arab coalition's decision to remove Qatar from its ranks. The Government of Yemen also severed its ties with Qatar.

The Government is also announcing severance of its diplomatic relations with the State of Qatar after Qatar's practices of maintaining exchanges with the coup militias and supporting the extremist groups in Yemen has been exposed. Practices that contradict with the goals agreed upon by the countries backing Yemen's legitimate Government. The Government of Yemen is confident that, God willing, our brothers in the coalition will continue to exert all efforts to ensure security and stability for the Yemeni people, back the legitimate state, restore the country's sovereignty from the rebels and counter terrorism on all Yemeni territories.
