Taiz (Saba) – A team of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on Tuesday visited the town of al-Turbah of Taiz, inspecting the harsh humanitarian situation Taiz is witnessing due to the war carried out by the Houthi-Saleh militias.
OCHA's team also visited the districts of al-Maqterah and al-Shamatain, seeing suffering of local residents and how commodities are transferred to them and to Taiz governorate in general.
The team was also briefed by security, and local authorities officials on the security situation and efforts exerted by the authorities to ensure stability and security.
