ADEN - SABA
Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani emphasized that the rapid developments of the "Yemen Dawn Operation" require unifying national efforts to maintain economic stability, ensure the flow of basic goods, continue trade activities and secure citizens' needs.
During his meeting today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with several private sector representatives, Dr. Zindani stressed that the battle to restore state authority and end the Houthi coup is closely linked to the responsibility of protecting people's livelihoods and market stability.
The government is working to support efforts to restore institutions and continue fulfilling economic, service and livelihood commitments without interruption.
The meeting addressed the shared national responsibility between the government and the private sector to secure basic goods like food, medicine and fuel at fair prices and in a continuous flow, and not to allow the battle circumstances to be exploited for hoarding or raising prices.
