The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Dr. Abdullah Bawazir discussed today, Thursday, in New York, with the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah the fraternal relations between the two countries, the latest developments in Yemen and the region, and ways to further boost cooperation and coordination on issues and challenges of common interest.

Bawazir briefed al-Sabah on the developments in political, security, and military situations in Yemen and the ongoing escalation by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias, underlining the repercussions of the Houthi military escalations on the security and stability of Yemen and the region.

The PLC's Member expressed the Republic of Yemen’s gratitude to the State of Kuwait for its steadfast fraternal positions in support of the Yemeni government and people through various stages.
