Yemeni official meets with UK Ambassador to Geneva

Geneva (Saba)- Deputy Human Rights Minister Mohammed Askar met on Monday with the Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN Julian Braithwaite on the sidelines of the 34th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
During the meeting, Askar spoke about human rights situation in Yemen and the steps taken by the legitimate government to naturalize the situation in liberated areas and improve living standards of people.
He highly appreciated the stance of the British government and its support to the legitimate government in Yemen and the Arab Coalition to restore security and stability, and put an end to the coup carried out by militias of the Houthis and Saleh.
For his part, Braithwaite praised the participation of the Yemeni government's delegation in the Human Rights Council in Geneva, pointing out that their participation affirms that the government pays attention to the issues of human rights.
