Lebanon Condemns Houthi Threats Against Saudi Arabia

Lebanon has strongly condemned threats issued by the Houthi terrorist militias against Saudi Arabia, including threats to impose a maritime blockade through the Bab al-Mandab Strait, describing them as a flagrant violation of international law and relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolutions 2722 (2024) and 2216 (2015).
In a statement issued on Thursday, Lebanon's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants reaffirmed the importance of safeguarding freedom of navigation and ensuring the full implementation of international resolutions in support of Yemen's legitimate government, including the withdrawal of the Houthi terrorist militias from the areas they have occupied.
Lebanon also reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Kuwait, expressing support for all measures taken by those countries to defend their sovereignty and protect their security and stability.
