The United Kingdom has welcomed the initiative announced by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with the support of the Yemeni government, to resume flights between Amman and Sana'a, describing it as a positive step toward easing the humanitarian suffering of Yemenis.
In a post on its X platform, the UK said the resumption of flights would help advance humanitarian efforts, provide direct benefits to Yemeni citizens, and contribute to supporting stability and security in the region.
The UK added that the initiative represents a constructive development that could facilitate the movement of people and help address some of the challenges facing Yemenis.
