Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Afrah Al-Zouba met on Saturday with the leadership of the German-Yemeni Association, headed by Gudrun Orth, to discuss ways of expanding cooperation in public diplomacy, cultural exchange, and the promotion of Yemen's rich cultural heritage in support of the country's recovery and development efforts.
The meeting, attended by Yemen's Ambassador to Germany Louay Al-Eryani, reviewed opportunities to strengthen joint initiatives that help present a balanced and positive image of Yemen while fostering closer engagement between Yemeni and German communities.
Dr. Al-Zouba commended the association's contribution to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the Yemeni and German peoples, praising its continued efforts to support community initiatives and deepen cultural ties.
She stressed the importance of building on the existing partnership through cultural and community-based programs that showcase Yemen's historical legacy and expand cooperation with German civil society organizations, thereby reinforcing bilateral relations and contributing to Yemen's development process.
