Yemeni Ambassador to Indonesia, Salem Balfaqih, met Tuesday with Indonesian Deputy Foreign Minister Armanatha Nasir to discuss avenues for advancing relations between the two countries and strengthening existing cooperation frameworks.

The meeting included an exchange of views on current regional developments and several matters of common interest. Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining close diplomatic engagement and enhancing coordination on issues raised in international forums.

Discussions also covered steps to activate the joint committee between Yemen and Indonesia as a means of broadening cooperation in diverse fields, while reaffirming the deep-rooted historical ties that have long connected the two brotherly nations.
