The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba stated that the Yemeni state undertakes its constitutional and sovereign responsibility to protect its citizens, lands, coasts, ports and territorial waters, and that enabling its institutions to carry out this responsibility is a key element for the security of Bab al-Mandeb, the Red Sea and international navigation and trade.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed the Republic of Yemen’s support and full endorsement of the measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to confront acts that undermine national security and aim to destabilize the security and stability of the brotherly Kingdom.

In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry affirmed Yemen’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain in all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.

The Ministry reiterated the Republic of Yemen’s firm and supportive position toward the security and stability of Bahrain, as well as its rejection of all forms of terrorism, extremism, and external interference that threaten the security and stability of the region.
