The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed the Republic of Yemen’s support and full endorsement of the measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to confront acts that undermine national security and aim to destabilize the security and stability of the brotherly Kingdom.

In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry affirmed Yemen’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain in all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.

The Ministry reiterated the Republic of Yemen’s firm and supportive position toward the security and stability of Bahrain, as well as its rejection of all forms of terrorism, extremism, and external interference that threaten the security and stability of the region.
