President al-Alimi convenes meeting of government, local authorities

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held today, Tuesday, a small government meeting included the governors of the government-held governorates, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb.

Minister of Transport seeks Tanzanian cooperation in transport businesses

Minister of Transport Mohsen al-Amri met today, Saturday, with the Executive Director of Tanzanian Airlines Eng. Peter Olang’a.

They discussed ways to establish joint cooperation in the businesses of air transport between the two countries.

They also addressed a number of issues related to the development of the civil aviation sector, and ways to expand the horizons of technical and operational cooperation between aviation institutions in the two countries.

The two sides agreed to prepare a draft joint memorandum of understanding that includes mechanisms for activating direct flight routes between Yemen and Tanzania, which would strengthen bilateral relations and support the shared economic and commercial interests of the two countries.
