Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Abdulrahman al-Mahrami discussed saturday with the new Governor of Dhalea Major General Ahmed Qaed al-Qobba latest developments in the governorate and ways to enhance institutional and service performance.
The meeting addressed developments in the field situation in the governorate amid the continued escalation by the Houthi militia.
In this regard, al-Mahrami stressed the importance of unifying ranks, strengthening public solidarity, and working with a team spirit to ensure continued resilience and to consolidate field victories, in a way that prevents any attempts to destabilize security and stability in the governorate.
During the meeting, al-Mahrami also reviewed the priorities of the current phase, emphasizing the need to assume responsibility and intensify efforts to strengthen the presence of state institutions, activate revenue-generating and oversight bodies to ensure transparency, and combat corruption. He renewed his support for the efforts of the local authority aimed at enhancing security and stability, advancing the governorate’s conditions, and improving the level of services.
For his part, the Governor al-Qobba expressed his thanks and appreciation to the member of the Presidential Leadership Council for his support and attention, affirming his determination to work with dedication and sincerity, and in coordination with all relevant authorities, to implement directives, improve the situation in Dhalea in terms of services and security, and achieve the aspirations of its people for stability and development.
