YWEF Documents 4,651 Houthi Violations Against Mosques and Religious Minorities
The Yemeni Women Empowerment Foundation (YWEF) has documented 4,651 crimes and violations committed by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia against mosques, religious figures and minorities across 14 provinces between January 2014 and August 21, 2026.

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Lieutenant General Mahmoud al-Subaihi emphasized the importance of strengthening agricultural production in order to achieve self-sufficiency and to remove all obstacles facing investors.

This would help stimulate investments across various agricultural sectors and support economic development efforts.

During his meeting Tuesday with the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Salem al-Soqtari, the Presidential Leadership Council member stressed the need for relevant authorities to follow up facilitating administrative procedures and encouraging investors to engage in sustainable agricultural projects. He affirmed that the Presidential Leadership Council gives great attention to the investment sector and works to support agricultural development initiatives in all their forms.

Lieutenant General al-Subaihi also praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries to achieve sustainable development, strengthen self-sufficiency, and expand investment opportunities.

He emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between the government and the private sector to achieve the desired development goals and to increase the contribution of the agricultural sector to national food security and the local economy.

For his part, the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries presented an overview of the requirements for agricultural investment in Aden Governorate, stressing the importance of encouraging investors and providing a suitable environment for them in order to ensure the development of the agricultural sector and enhance its role in supporting food security and the local economy.
