The Republic of Yemen condemned the statements made by the United States Ambassador to Israel regarding Israel's right to control the Middle East.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed, in a statement learned by the Yemen News Agency (Saba), that these statements constitute a violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, an infringement on sovereignty of the countries and a threat to regional security and stability.

The Republic of Yemen reiterated its steadfast stance in support of the rights of the Palestinian people, first and foremost of which is the establishment of their independent state in accordance with resolutions of International Security Council legitimacy and the principle of the two-state solution.
